I'm reading a buncha Nietzsche books, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and hoping to get ahold of the Trench, the sequel to the Meg book.

I was reading the "Battle Royale" novel, but got bored, so ive started reading "Cloud of Sparrows" by Takashi Matsuoka. Pretty good stuff, its reminsiscent of James Clavell's "Shogun", whereby westerners get stuck on Japan in the mid 1800's.

So Battle Royale novel isn't that good? That's a shame, the manga and movie are excellent...

Well not too long ago I was reading the Da Vinci Code, but I finished it. lol so now I probably should find something else to read :/

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

I suggest you to read it, it's much deeper and really is written for more older readers, it's not happy kiddy shit AT ALL.

IRT Xellos - Its goes into far more in depth than the film, not sure about the manga though. However, it wasnt the novel itself, the story was great, but it was the translation that put me off. The pronouns were everywhere. It randomly switched from 1st person to 3rd person perspective, and alternated between characters. I beared with it, but i just put it down by the time it got to christmas and forgot about it. Might try finish it sometime though, to get my money's worth.

IRT Kles - Yeah, i read that over the summer, kept me up all night reading sometimes. Agreed, the language has a far more sophisticated approach in comparison to the previous books; It is gearing itself towards an older audience.

I have no idea if children enjoyed this one or not, but in the BBC big read (a national voting for the best book ever, very publicised over here), the highest Harry Potter book entry was awarded to "The Goblet of Fire" (the fourth book in the series), which, as you'll see, came in 5th place. This perhaps shows that children didnt prefer this book as much as the others, and perhaps didnt get it.

Then again, this book mainly served to build up the suspense of the 7th book, as will the 6th, whilst all the previous books were more self-contained. This may also have swayed many readers preferences when it came to the final vote.

The State and Revolution by Lenin. I haven't had much time to really get far in it due to a paper and exams. So far so good, though.

nothing right now, not outside of manga, im loking for something to read, maybe a fantasy book with dragons wizards and such, but there are so many i cant tell which is trash and which isnt lolz, i know one author thats pretty darn good but i forgot his name i would remember it if i saw it >_>
